“Clayoquot Sound: Wild Salmon in Trouble” is a video by Canadian film maker Damien Gillis. This work highlights the work of the Wild Fish Conservancy in researching the impacts of open net-cage salmon farms on the chum and threatened Chinook salmon populations of Clayoquot Sound. Research in part financed by the SOS Marine Conservation Foundation.
“The Global Reach of the Norwegian Salmon Farming Industry - Farmed Salmon Exposed” is a video by Canadian film maker Damien Gillis. This work reveals the pervasive nature of the issues plaguing salmon aquaculture and features testimonials by witnesses discussing the environmental and socio-economic damage caused by poorly managed salmon farms. The film was screened internationally during The Pure Salmon Campaign's Global Week of Action in November, 2009.
